E-Iodocal is a premixed calcium hydroxide paste containing iodoform with improved radiopacity and antimicrobial effect. Iodoform provides radiopacity and antimicrobial effects. Calcium stimulates hard tissues formation at the apex level, and provides an alkaline antimicrobial medium. Calcium hydroxide with Iodoform is used for stimulating the healing process. This paste is packaged in a convenient syringe to eliminate messy mixing.
